SYAN organised a side event at ECOSOC Youth Forum
SYAN along with WHO-SEARO and The YP Foundation organised a side event during ECOSOC Youth Forum on the topic “Building Blocks for Building Back Better: Youth Leadership in Recovering from the Pandemic” with the following objectives: 1. Discussing the impact of COVID-19 and evolving needs of young populations through the pandemic, 2. Exploring the failures and successes in systemic and institutional responses, 3. Giving recommendations on meaningful youth engagement and leadership in inclusive policy discussions and framing, and 4. Present the outline of our discussions and recommendations as a charter/roadmap to key stakeholders.
