About : About the organization: Social Changemakers and Innovators (SOCHAI) is an award winning young women led non-profit organization, formed in 2017 in Nepal to improve overall health, nutrition and socio-economic status of people, particularly women, children and girls through education, innovation and entrepreneurship at grass-root level. SOCHAI firmly believes that devastating consequences of malnutrition can be prevented with access to simple and affordable interventions. With this vision and determination, SOCHAI implements community based learning programs led by youth in partnership with local government, that are contributing to accelerating the progress in the SDGs 2 – Zero Hunger, 3 – Good Health and Wellbeing, 4 – Quality Education, 6 – Clean Water and Sanitation and 8 – Decent Work and Economic Growth. SOCHAI's mission is to support women, children and girls reach their full potential in life by improving their intergenerational well-being through community engagement and youth leadership.
